“Starting on the 1st of July in Hamburg the new Propeller has now about 300 hours of motoring. We went down all the inland waterways through Belgium and France, about 250 water locks to the Mediterranean Sea. So the prop had to do a lot of work, manouvering in all directions. It always switched properly from forward to backward, offering a lot more stopping power than the old fixed prop. The pitch is chosen perfectly. I cannot measure any increase in fuel consumption.”
