Typically when a feathering propeller is very old, been neglected or run without grease, wear can develop in the propeller in the form of loose blades and backlash. If wear is minimal then it is not usually worth doing anything about and will not cause any problems.  If however wear is considered to be severe then the propeller can be reconditioned to almost as new condition adding many years to the life of the propeller!

If you are interested in our Max-Prop Servicing then please send your complete Max-Prop propeller to us. Along with the propeller please confirm the Max-Prop Pitch settings that are being used. Don’t worry if you do not have these as we can run full calculations for your propeller settings.

Once at Darglow we will carry out a full assessment and provide you with a Report on what can or cannot be achieved.

As well as dealing with wear, the propeller will routinely be cleaned, balanced and re-finished. We also have a large stock of spares where required.
