“A rather delayed email to let you know that we fitted our new prop and shaft without any problems after making some modifications to the cut out area on our Contessa 32 “Tigris”. A have attached a couple of photos which you are welcome to use for promotional purposes.”
“We went back into the water just over a month ago, but have only managed to move from the slipway to our berth and then one very short sail/motor out in the Solent so far due to other commitments. First impressions are very good with noise and vibration significantly lower than we were experiencing with our old prop. As we have replaced an old Darglow with a new one (rather than trading up from fixed blade prop), we are not expecting a great increase in performance, but we appeared to be using lower engine revs to maintain 5 kts. We will try to complete a full engine rev to speed table over the next few weeks (while we have a clean bottom) and will get that to you in due course.”
