“Just a very short note to tell you how pleased we are with the new FeatherStream propeller. Shotley Marine recommended your propeller to us and fitted the propeller in June.”

 “Since then we have had three opportunities to really test it out and are thrilled by the near 50% gain in speed under sail which has resulted from cleaning up the hull below the waterline and fitting the propeller. We estimate that the propeller has given us about 1.6 to 1.9kts of gain out of the 2.5 to 2.7 overall gains.”

 “The operation of the propeller is smooth, effective and not at all noticeable when under sail. In reverse there is little or no prop-walk unless I apply full power, then it will swing the stern to port as before. This can be an advantage sometimes, so overall we are much impressed that we now have the best of both worlds in close quarters manoeuvring and a 7 to 8 knot cruising speed in a steady force 4 wind. Excellent!!!”
